Themes

During the Multi Stakeholder Meeting in October 2009, a number of Value Chains were put in the spotlight by Agri-ProFocus members and their partners. Since then, joint action and tuning off took place between various actors in the chain. The chains in question are:

• Cotton
• Honey
• Rice
• Dairy
• Biofuels

In addition to this, overarching themes sprung up that may benefit from joint learning and action. Those identified in May 2011 are, notably:

• Improving access to Finance
• Improving BDS services
• Climate-Smart Agriculture
• Policy & Advocacy
• Biotechnology
