ALTERNATIVE Investments Africa (ALTVEST), a London- headquartered
firm, has acquired 70 per cent stake in YamBEEji Honey and Rice Products, a private company based in Zambezi District in North-WesternProvince.

Government has signed a 50 million United States Dollars loan agreement with the World Bank for the livestock development and animal health project.

THE World Bank (WB) has said Zambia should use the existing potential in the livestock sector to accelerate its economic diversification programme and national development.
